profi | Хорошая музыка: простой шедевр

Это может прозвучать парадоксально: одной из лучших композиций великих Genesis, славящихся утонченным симфонизмом масштабных композиций и являющихся одними из творцов симфонического прогрессива, является обычная песенка. 4 с лишним минуты. Легко запоминающаяся и, на первый взгляд и "первый слух", совершенно ничем не примечательная*. Появившаяся на странном для этой группы альбоме, названном незатейливо - Genesis. Гениальный ударник и певец Genesis-a (а также - композитор, актер, режиссер и продюсер) Фил Коллинз (я его полушутливо называю "человек Возрождения" или "Леонардо 70-х") за свою сольную карьеру подобных симпатичных песенок "выдавал на гора" десятками. Таких, да не таких!

* Насчет "простоты" и "непримечательности". Если хорошо прислушаться, в композиции и в аранжировке этой "простой песенки", подобно поглотившей Вселенную черной дыре, находится весь мир Genesis-a: с его симфонизмом, многослойностью и великолепным инструментализмом. Короткое органное соло Тони Бэнкса входит в мою личную "десятку" лучших клавишных соло всех времен и народов. Sic res est.
